The Bouchard story starts in Belgium in 1931 when Mr Daskalides opened his tea & confectionary shop selling his luxury, handmade pralines. Almost 90 years later, Bouchard is still a family-owned company but now with production facilities in Belgium and Germany too. The current owner has four daughters and life revolves around the kitchen which is where the inspiration for Bouchard Cookie Dough Bites comes from. He was always being told off for nicking the mixture and licking the bowl. Then the idea struck him that if he could take chocolate chip cookie dough mixture and brownie batter and enrobe it in chocolate, he could enjoy his favourite treat at any time!
